Iron Loader V2 - Installation and Tuning Instructions

Device Preparation

Before starting, ensure you have these essentials:

1. A compatible iOS or Android smartphone/tablet
2. Reliable Wi-Fi for tune file transfers
3. The PowerGate app installed (download links below)

Vehicle Connection Setup

1. Insert the OBD2 cable into the Iron Loader V2 (serial side into female port)
2. Connect the OBD2 end to your vehicle's diagnostic port
3. Activate Location Services and Bluetooth on your mobile device
4. Wait for blue LED indicators signaling readiness
5. Launch the PowerGate application
6. Pair with the Iron Loader via Bluetooth settings
7. Connect to WiFi when prompted during tuning
8. Allow automatic software/firmware updates to complete

Creating ECU Backup

1. Maintain Bluetooth/Wi-Fi connection between phone and loader
2. Open PowerGate application
3. Follow in-app guidance to initiate ECU backup
4. Set ignition to ON position (engine remains off)
5. Select virtual reading option during communication setup
6. Allow several minutes for completion
7. Save backup file when prompted

Tune File Exchange

Now transfer your files:

1. PowerGate will automatically prompt for backup file upload
2. Confirm stable internet connection
3. Wait for custom tune availability notification
4. Download custom tune when ready

Your personalized tune is now prepared for installation.

Applying Your Custom Tune

Final installation steps:

1. Reconnect OBD2 cable (as in Step 2)
2. Verify blue LED activation
3. Confirm PowerGate app connection
4. Repeat connection steps if prompted
5. Select writing function in app
6. Choose downloaded custom tune
7. Follow installation prompts (keep ignition ON)
8. Never interrupt the process
9. Disconnect after successful completion
